Playa del Médano has the largest stretch of natural sandy beach in Tenerife and Apartamentos Miramar are situated right on the beach with wide sea views. A landscaped boardwalk has been built along the beach which is great for a stroll and further to the west the sand continues all the way past Montaña Roja (see photo) to Playa Tejita where there is nude bathing.

There are a total of twelve one and two bedroomed apartments mostly with balconies in two adjacent buildings managed by Maria Adela and furnished in traditional canarian style. These apartments are very popular with customers who stay there every year so we need to book early. We can offer alternative accommodation in El Medano at the Durazno Sur apartments should these be unavailable. The town which is a windsurfing centre has a nice atmosphere with lots of restaurants and bars, especially good by the little fishing port. It is just 10 minutes drive from Tenerife South airport. A car is not essential here.
