Apartamentos Charco del Conde are perfectly situated if you want a beach or pool holiday and would prefer not to need a car. Situated in Valle Gran Rey on the west coast of La Gomera in an area known as La Puntilla, you have a small beach opposite the apartments and two others within a 10 minute walk in either direction. But if this is too far you can just stay at the apartments and use the pool! At La Puntilla there are also many restaurants and shops as well as bicycle hire and hiking tours to see the rest of the island.

There are 100 apartments in the complex all with one bedroom but there is a choice between a studio apartment (see picture opposite) or a one bedroom apartment with separate bedroom. In these apartments a third adult can stay on the sofa bed in the sitting room or two children under 12 years old. All apartments have TV, a bathroom with bath and show unit and a good sized balcony some of which over the street towards the sea and other towards the mountain behind.

The apartments are only a 10 - 15 minute walk from the ferry port at Vueltas where the foot passenger only ferry from Los Cristianos docks. At Vueltas there are some good fish restaurants and in the square they hold fiestas with live music and dancing. From the port you can go an boating excursions to circumnavigate La Gomera or look for whales and dolphins.

There is parking ouside the apartments on the street and it is a 1.5 hour drive to San Sebastian and the main ferry port. If you go by ferry it is 20 minutes to Playa Santiago and a further 15 minutes to San Sebastian.
