Situated in the oasis village of Alajeró, this newly built four star hotel is a great place to stay for people on walking holidays or those who want some luxury in an off the beaten track location. The hotel is on the edge of the village with views to the sea and the neighbouring island of El Hierro to the south west. Alajero is 800m above sea level and can be cold, especially at night in winter and despite being in the sunny south it can be foggy.

There are 30 rooms or suites each set in their own grounds with a terrace and entrance door from the gardens. Inside there is a small sitting room with satellite TV and minibar, the sofa converts into a supplementary bed for a third person. The sitting room leads into the bedroom which has large double or twin beds and ensuite luxury bathroom. There is an independant heating / air conditioning unit for each suite. Care has been taken to make the suites and their terraces as private as possible.

The hotel has a good restaurant and in the village there are a further three restaurants. Walking in the area is superb and Playa Santiago and the beach is a twenty minute drive away. There is an infrequent bus service too. At Playa Santiago there is a selection of shops and restaurants and the local ferry will take you to San Sebastian and Valle Gran Rey much quicker than going by road.
