All
the Bellavista apartments face southwest giving both stunning sea
views from most balconies and terraces as well as all day sunshine. Situated
on a quiet pedestrian lane in the most picturesque part of the village known
as La Laguna but only a five minute walk to the beach, shops and
restaurants, the location has the advantage of combining the peacefulness
of being tucked away whilst being an easy walk to local amenities. Bellavista
is divided into ten apartments, four with two bedrooms, and six with
one bedroom. Many also have extra beds or sofa beds in their spacious living
areas. Because the two ground floor apartments look on to the street, they
each have their own terraces with sea view on the third floor (see photo above).
Inside, the apartments have open plan living areas with well equipped kitchen bays (some have ovens), dining and sitting areas. The master bedrooms have double beds and the second bedrooms have a single bed for normal use with a pull-out bed stored underneath for the fourth person. There is a communal laundry room which also has a ‘mini library’ of books for borrowing during your stay. All apartments have TVs with DVD players for hire.
At Reception, which also doubles as the Casas Canarias Gomera office, you can book excursions, boat trips, scuba diving and other activities, hire cars and access the internet. Also in the vicinity is the “Tecina Golf” 18 hole golf course, the club house being a 20 minute walk from the apartments. Given the excellent climate, choice of restaurants and peaceful atmosphere, this makes a good base if you do not wish to hire a car although we recommend one for exploring the island. Parking is at the end of the lane a minute’s walk away and it is a 35 minute drive from the main ferry port and San Sebastian.
