Casa Amanda contains just five apartments, two with three bedrooms on the upper floor and three with one bedroom on the lower floor. All apartments face south giving on to a quiet pedestrian lane with picturesque stepped paths down to the centre of San Sebastian, about a five minute walk away. There is an alternative entrance with parking on the street outside on the north side of the house. The upper apartments each have two balconies and the lower ones have small patios (see photo). Furnished in traditional canarian style, most apartments have a fridge freezer, four burner hob and washing machine.

The owners live on the premises and clean the apartments twice a week. Casa Amanda is a convenient place to stay being both within walking distance to all amenities but sufficiently hidden away to be quiet.

A car is not necessary here unless you wish to explore the rest of La Gomera. There is a fairly good bus service from here to Vallehermoso, Valle Gran Rey and Playa Santiago. It is 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes walk from the ferry port.
