Hermigua, like Vallehermoso, owes its stunning beauty at least in part to a wetter climate. An easy drive from the ferry, the valley is a centre of banana cultivation. There is only rural tourism here and for those who like beautiful and challenging walks to the National park (opposite), and don’t mind some cloudy days, it is fabulous (Casa la Vecindad).
